Support Policy Changes - In effect 16 September, 2006

Internet marketing clients

Dear valuable clients,

As you have come to know, myself and my staff are generally readily available on an extended hour basis, 7 days per week with some exceptions.

As a small company serving many client's priorities; from small site adjustments to complete webmaster services, technical support, online and offline marketing and graphic design, we sometimes find ourselves spread pretty thin with a very heavy workload.

In our line of work, there is never such a thing as "caught up", and we continually push the envelope to keep pace with our schedule. As a result of these long days and hours end on end, I must put into effect the new policy change below.

Changes take place immediately.
  • We will continue to work from somewhere around 11am/Noon, Central US time until approx Midnight/2am, Monday through Thursday.
  • Friday will be approx. *offline at 8 pm.
  • Saturday will be approx *offline at 4pm.
  • Sunday will technically be *offline with the exception below.
  • Hosting clients should also read the changes here.
We will continue to do any work that ~absolutely needs~ to be performed during off hours. This work will be billed at double time, with the exception of hosting/server issues which are, as always, no cost to our hosting clients.

As always we will be available for support 24/7 if you can reach us, however, we do not have phones upstairs nor do we take our cell phones to bed.

We ask that during the approximate off hours above that you do not hesitate to contact us with urgent matters or emergencies, however, regularly scheduled work will be done during the online work hours outlined above.

All of the times above are sort of approximate, but it's the best I can come up with as we do have appointments with clients or outside people during the day from time to time and we do not keep a rigid schedule due to the nature of our work.

The important issue is that we cannot keep up the 7 day per week schedule that we have maintained for so long. These policy changes are as much for your benefit as they are for our benefit with the alternative resulting in burnout. The benefit to you is that after our rest period, we are sharper, faster and refreshed, with stronger abilities to take on your daily challenges.

* "Offline hours" we generally do have computers online and we do check e-mail. Scheduled work e-mails will be put on hold for work hours, emergency e-mails will be dealt with as quickly as possible.

We realize that not all of our clients can contact us by US or Mexico phone numbers, however, our contact numbers are in your files with the expectation that the cell phone number will be reserved for work hours or true emergencies.

If you need anything please be sure to let me know.

Thank you,

K. C. Wright
